At Dawn To Dusk Cleaning, service to the community is something we hold in high regard. We recognize the privilege we have, and the responsibility to help those in need however we can. For several years now, we’ve teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, an international nonprofit foundation that provides free house cleanings to those battling cancer. Cancer has touched just about everyone’s life in one way or another, and we are here to do whatever we can to help those who can use a hand. We’re proud to announce that in 2021, we were number 8 in the Cleaning for a Reason Top 100 Cleaning Companies for cancer patients served.
When your energy goes to fighting cancer, it makes life at home difficult. It’s tough to find the energy to clean your own home, and we believe that everyone deserves a clean and healthy home for their comfort and their health. That’s why we gladly devote as much time as we can to helping cancer patients through this wonderful organization, Cleaning for a Reason.

Cleaning for a Reason provides an important service to those in need. Since its founding in 2006, they have gotten over 44,000 houses cleaned at no cost to the homeowner and collected over $15,000,000 for house cleanings! We count ourselves as lucky to be one of the 1,200 cleaning companies that partner with Cleaning for a Reason
There are plenty of ways to get involved with Cleaning for a Reason. If you own a cleaning company, you can apply to become a partner. At the least, you’ll need to commit to cleaning two separate homes in a month. Of course, you can clean as many more than that as you would like.
But you don’t have to own a company to get involved. Cleaning for a Reason is always looking for donations to continue their work. Due to COVID-19, volunteers are not being accepted right now, but you can check back regularly on their website for updates. If someone you care about is battling cancer and could use some help around the house, you can nominate them to have their home cleaned by Dawn to Dusk Cleaning Service. The link to the nomination form can be found near the bottom of our home page under the “Giving Back To The Community” header. Nominate as many people as you wish, we would love to help however we can.
